If you’ve enjoyed our monthly programs and other activities, why not consider becoming a member of the Wild Ones Oak Openings Region Chapter? Your membership dues help support our efforts to educate Ohioans about the many ecosystem benefits of native plants, and we would love to have you as part of the team.

When you become a member, you’ll receive our informative monthly Member Newsletter with timely educational articles and calendar of events. Please go here to join as a new member, or to renew your membership. (Note that you’ll be taken to our national Wild Ones website for the membership enrollment form. As you fill out the form, remember to select “Oak Openings Region” as your chapter affiliation.)

From September to May, our chapter meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Nederhouser Community Hall at Olander Park, 6930 Sylvania Ave., Sylvania, Ohio. These regular program meetings feature a wide variety of topics related to native plants.

Wild Ones Oak Openings Region also gathers regularly for outdoor activities such as field trips, native seed harvests, native garden installations, educational outreach, stewardship including invasive plant removal, and much more.
